"Thunderstorms in vincinity"

Yeah, weather.com doesn't know the half of it.
We can't see the buildings 100 yards away for the rain, and there's little whitecaps in the streets (which are flooded). This is good weather for curling up on the couch with a good book and a nice cuppa, or maybe running around in the storm until you get cold then curling up with a good book and some tea.
I guess it's better now than in 5 hours when I have to bike home.

Though I really have the worst timing; I decided the best way to wake myself up and get some of the twitchiness out would be to head back to the loading dock and take a short run through the park. Sure enough, right as I hit the usual turn-around point, the clouds went from dark to green and the wind picked up. I started sprinting back to the building, but by the time I got there, I had gotten a nice exfoliating scrub with the sand and grit from the parking lot and was soaked from the sheets of rain coming down.
But I'm awake now!

Sorta sad I won't be able to hit the Tae Soo Do open workout today and try to get the heavy bags to move. Then again, after going out dancing two days in a row, I'm not sure I'd be able to get the heavy bag to move no matter how much help I got with my form.

weather.com is always rediculously inaccurate for up-to-the-minute (or even up-to-the-half-a-day) weather. Weather Underground is a little bit better - www.wunderground.com

Awww...go take a nice hot bath.

Also: I have lingonberry jelly. My ma has kept this fact from me, for reasons unknown. Sometime soon, I want to have a Swedish breakfast.
